Chapter 18

-Why do you think Miles conceals the reason that he and Winnie return without any fish?  

Could it be more than to just save her some embarrassment? 

Chapter 14

Poor Winnie, she just wants to go to bed and everyone keeps talking to her and waking her up.
-Why do you think Tuck checks on her?  Why do you think Jesse checks on her?

Chapter 12

Wow, there sure is a LOT of talk in this chapter about wheels.  Tuck keeps mentioning cycles and wheels to Winnie while they float in a boat.
-What do you think he is trying to explain to her?

Chapter 10

The Tuck family is really growing on me.  The more I read about them the more I like them and even feel bad for them.

Why don't they have any friends?

I really like this chapter, it made me think a lot about my house, my parents, my possessions.  I think that's one of the things I like most about Natalie Babbitt's writing, she makes me think.  Here is the question:

Movies vs Books

I find that most movies made after a book really let me down, they just don't capture the characters in the book like I wish they would.   I do however really like most of the Harry Potter movies and I also like the books. 
   The Tuck Everlasting movie is MUCH different than the book and has a totally different ending, for that reason I am not a big fan of the movie.
  Let's make this a post about comparing movies and books of the same title.  Please tell us the name of the movie / book and tell us which one you liked more and why?  Of course other people are encouraged to write back to you and offer opinions about your choice in a RESPECTFUL way.
