my first impression was that he was a mysterious stranger that means no harm, but was willing to do anything to find that "certain" family (which i think is the Tucks).
My first impression is that this guy is totaly creepy, I mean some stranger comes to this kids house, and asks her multiple questions about her, and her family.
i say my first impression is he is either jesse or miles tuck or he's just up to no good. also i think the music is mae tucks music box.
